I’m aware that I’ve got a washi problem. As in, I don’t know if I have any self-control when it comes to those gleaming, adorable, printed-in-any-pattern-and-texture-you-can-imagine rolls…. I have Way. To. Many. And I don’t think I could part with a single one. Sad (pathetic, really), but true. I won’t even tell you how many I’ve got, let’s just say they have their own home in my desk area! 🙂
And I of course have now discovered Foil Washi. How did I not know about this wonderful marvel before now?!?! So pretty! Shiny. And Sticky. And Functional. And Fun! So I’m now going to delight you with some photos of my new washi. (Links to Etsy seller is at the bottom of this post!)
Gorgeous Mint, Black & Silver…
Gold & Peach (This is on some of my April pages- what a great color combo!)
More to come of the Foil Edition. 🙂
Fantastic store, wonderful product, and amazingly fast shipping. Very pleased! https://www.etsy.com/shop/ThatWashiTapeGirl
Happy Washi-ing. 🙂
This sticky note set was- wait for it, – on sale!!! My favorite kind of purchase.
Here is the bi-fold booklet:
Very springy. And the verse is so great! Here is the inside:
Even prettier! I love the faint prints on some of them- the tone-on-tone. It means you can still write and read the writing, but makes them a little fancier. Fun. 🙂
And the large pad:
Love the text:
And here is one inside my Filofax:
A great reminder on a lovely sticky note.
So, I started seeing pictures of these sets a while ago and couldn’t believe my luck when I found a set in one of the cities I visited this year in a random TJ Maxx- score! Here they are in all their boxed-up glory:
And here is the lid lifted:
Look at all that sticky note fun!!
I really love all those little pencils- they are so cute. 🙂
There are a few smaller long ones that I also think are adorable- especially this ruler one. Cuteness!
What a great set of sticky notes- great variety in size, design, color and shape.
All in a compact little package.
This quote graces my “Mr. W” section- and I love it. I love that it is poetry, because he loves poetry. I love that it is romantic, because he is romantic. And I love that I totally agree with these lines…
“Grow old along with me!
The best is yet to be,
The last of life, for
which the first was made.”
Soooo… if you’re reading this you already know that I blog. 🙂
But I thought I’d share with you one of the ways that I brainstorm ideas.
I work best in an organized fashion- also, not new information.
I came up with the idea of “Series” for posts. When I have an idea for a post that I know will lead to OTHER posts that fall under the same main category I (of course!) create a tag for this and then fill out my planning pages with these themed series tags. Here is a glance at some of my Series- I keep a master list to remind me.
You’ve probably already seen most of these titles on my posts, but I like that I can keep things fresh and varied but also plan long in advance and spark my own imagination while I’m blogging.
So that’s my tip! Enjoy.
These stickers are so happy. A bright burst of color!
I kept it simple and stuck with the original color scheme of the stickers- so fun.
I love the hot pink glitter tape- really pops on the yellow!
This weeks list is brought to you by these:
No, I do not live in the desert. No, I really don’t enjoy anything with a “southwestern/Aztec” decor. But for some reason I really liked these! I wanted to feature the stickers, so went with a neutral palette for the paper.
And the polka dots make them less prickly and more fun!
