It was about 2 years ago, almost exactly, that I first was bitten with the Filofax bug. And I’m going to share with you the blog post that started my addiction with Filofax, planning and binders in general. Many of you have probably already read this exact post, but if you haven’t it’s a fun read and loads of drool-worthy Filofax pictures.
A Bowl Full of Lemons.
I love the blog, and this post was magical for me.
(the photo that made me want this exact Filofax)
And I found the EXACT Filofax in a great shop in NYC- I was there for work.
I must have went in 3 different times to look at it, hold it and open and close it.
I decided to take the plunge.
Now, while I don’t use this planner much anymore, I still think it’s as beautiful as the day I first saw it and I will never get rid of it. I had to switch to Personal size for portability reasons (the great debate, for all of you Filofax lovers out there…) but I am still trying to think of ways to use this beauty. I find it isn’t practical for me to use two planners- everything needs to be in one place in order for me to actually get any planning out of a planner.
Sigh. But I still love her….
Well, it’s Monday again lovelies! 🙂
I really do love Mondays. And today I’m even more excited as Autumn is well and truly on her way and I changed out my dashboard and some other goodies in my planner for the Fall theme. *happy*
This is a great quote-
This one, I think, is totally true. I’m trying to be less lacking in my decision making at my desk. I do better on some days than others…
Love the Malden’s color and these paint chips- that I save specifically as a little group because of their fall colors!- look so great.
I added Gold glitter tape to the top of my converted Project Life weekly page divider, and some new Little B gold and white washi to my today marker. Gotta glam it up…
The countdown page for Baby W- we are really getting closer! Only 10 more weeks!!!
The leaf paper is perfect.
A glance at my new daily pages- I’ll be doing a post about these soon!
Another full week!
A Peek at my week!
I’m planning to be working toward getting some freezer meals ready to go before Baby Girl arrives, so you’ll be seeing these tags in the next few weeks. I am going to try and break it up into different “meat” days- Chicken meals, Beef meals, Pork meals- so I don’t have to spend 8 hours one day doing them all at once. And far less confusing. AND I can use one for our dinner that night.
I’m always eager for Fall to begin. Always. 🙂 I love the coziness it brings and the yummy food, crisp air and beautiful colors. So I got going early on making some cute to-do lists that are Fall-themed. Enjoy!
This football washi is one of my favorites…
Gotta love leaves and plaid. Like a fall picnic!
I wish I had been able to get into the cool “thing” of naming your Filofaxes. I just couldn’t seem to get a feel for any of my Filos names, other than my Yellow Finsbury (who I call Sunny). But, this Ochre Malden is one of my favorites- and in the Autumn I can’t get enough of her! Him?…. eh, I dunno…
Great quote by Hemmingway. 🙂
Gotta have loads of Washi on hand!
The backside of my Dashboard- other quotes that inspire me whenever I see them.
Something about the warm, chocolately color of the Malden gets me in the Autumn mood every time. And I purchased this baby in the Autumn… waited for weeks to get it since I was on a work trip!
Pumpkin Spice Latte, Blog Planning, A Filofax and some sunshine and fresh air. What’s not to love?
Even though I use my Filofax daily for lists, planning, errands and whatever other bits of information I need to jot down or have accessible on a daily basis, there is still nothing quite like a fresh sheet of paper to make a list. I’m getting deja vu… have I said this before?!… 😉
So, when I found this Autumn-looking notebook at Marshalls recently, I KNEW that it would be totally fun to decorate and use for the fall months to come… so pretty!
The inside is just as good: instead of boring white paper, it’s brown kraft paper!
And then I went more than a little crazy with my Autumn washi, stickers and sticky notes…. enjoy the photos!
Happy Fall List-Making!
This week’s view is in two parts- I got a great tip from someone online about sticking coupons into your planner when they need to be used- or before they expire. That way you will remember to use them before it’s too late! First half of the week:
And then a shot of my Bath & Body Works coupon (fave place to buy anything smelly for the bathroom, and I’m a sucker for Autumn anything):
And the other half:
Football season has definitely arrived! 🙂
